About the NZADT

What Does the NZADT do?

TThe New Zealand Association of Dance Teachers Incorporated (NZADT), is a national organisation which provides a network for dance teachers of all styles and idioms. It works toward increasing professionalism and serves its members :

• Promoting our members through our webpage, directory and networks in the community.
• Providing an online Members Resource Manual that contains regularly updated resources on:
  • dance health issues;
  • small business management;
  • and other issues assoicated with teaching dance.
• Providing a contact network for members.
• Working to get dance teachers into New Zealand Schools, implimenting the dance component of the Arts Curriculum.
• Providing information on and access to Professional Development opportunities.
• Acting as an advocate of dance and dance teachers, lobbying on dance related issues.
